Two workshops on Value Added Products from Tuber Crops and
Processing Machineries were organized with technical support
from CTCRI Thiruvananthapuram for farmers and entrepreneurs. The
First one at Harvi Puram Community Hall, Perurkkada,
Thiruvananthapuram on17th March 2009 was inaugurated by Sri.
Ajith Venniyur, Secretary, CISSA . Dr. M. S. Sajeev of CTCRI led
the workshop. He presented the work done by CTCRI and technology
developed in producing various value added products from
Cassava. He also presented working models of various low cost
processing machinery to the delegates. 50 delegates attended the
programme. Agri Friends(NGO) was the co organizer of the
workshop.
The second workshop on Value Added Products from Tuber Crops and
Processing Machineries was organized at Karumkulam- Pambukala,
Thiruvananthapuram on 31st March 2009. Santhigram, Vizhinjam,
Karimkulam Organic Farmers Association were co-organizers of the
event. The function was inaugurated by Project Director of CISSA,
Sri. K. G. Thomas. 62 delegates attended the programme. |
