The objectives of this group are:
- promoting public awareness, appreciation, critical
evaluation and understanding of science and technology
developments and its applications
- listen carefully and responds to the opinions and needs of
the common people and provide a balance of all factors in
issues relating to science, technology and development
- initiate people’s movements, programmes and campaigns to
achieve sustainable development and to oppose unethical use of
science and technology
- conduct meetings , exhibitions, lectures, seminars,
discussions and conferences to popularize science, technology
and sustainable development among students and the masses
- Promote science education, with emphasis on “Education for
Sustainable Development”
