The challenge of achieving sustainable
development means managing change on many fronts and on many
levels. Innovation is necessary to develop and explore new ideas
which can lead to development of better tools and products,
resulting in social, environmental and economic improvement.
Solving the environmental and developmental problems facing the
world requires new innovative, interdisciplinary, trans cultural
research integrating the latest science into the traditional
wisdom.
CISSA members are fully dedicated to pushing the frontiers of
inter disciplinary /trans cultural research and approach that go
beyond reductionism in understanding the dynamics of whole
systems and to using this new science to make the world a better
