Management today One day Workshop on
Adolescent Management for professional college teachers
organized by Centre for Innovation in Sciences and Social Action
(CISSA) will be held at Hotel Geeth ,Statue ,Thiruvananthapuram
today , 8th September 2007.
Workshop will be inaugurated by Dr K.A. Kumar, former director
of Medical education.
Dr.S. Jayaram, former Superintendent of Mental Health Centre,
Thiruvananthapuram; Dr. K. Raju Medical College,
Thiruvananthapuram Dr. Amar Fettle, General Hospital, Adv.
Madathil N. Harikumar, and Smt. Novma Money, will take classes.
The workshop will address the issues of students like
multicultural and gender problems, career and developmental
needs, managing depression, psychological problems like sexual
digression, suicidal tendency, substance abuse and various forms
of violence including ragging.

CISSA Workshop for teachers on Adolescent Management
Thiruvananthapuram: CISSA- Centre for innovation in Science and
Social Action is organizing a series of workshops on adolescent
management for professional college teachers. The main objective
of the workshop is to equip the teachers to address the issues
of their students like multicultural and gender problems, career
and developmental needs, managing depression, psychological
problems like sexual digression, suicidal tendency, substance
abuse and various forms of violence including ragging.
The first of this workshop series, for the participants from
Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Pathanamthitta Districts, will be
held on 8th September 2007, in synchronization with the
beginning of the new batches in professional colleges at
Thiruvananthapuram.
The faculty of the workshop includes expert and experienced
medical and mental health professionals, legal experts,
psychiatric social workers and counselors. The educational
